We would be remiss if we didn’t mention our in house music guru first and foremost.  Not only have his columns amused us and taken our playlists to the next level, but they’ve also gotten him a job!  Jeffrey is now interning at Rolling Stones Magazine and used his columns for us as his writing sample.  Here’s what he has to say about what he’s up to and a small selection of his posts:

Jeffrey Marshek, Minerva’s resident Music Guru  currently spends his days
shuffling between Rolling Stone, where he is doing an editorial internship &
getting an A to Z zeitgeist schooling, as well as Donna Davine, a boutique wine
shop he manages in Boreum Hill, Brooklyn, where he writes about and sells wine.
In his “spare time”, Jeffrey is readying to marry the love of his life, in a
November 2010 wedding, occasionally cooking  something surprisingly delicious
and always, ALWAYS listening to music.
