In last week’s post of Part One of our interview with Paul Solet, I introduced the documentary on acting in horror I’m working on with actor Kristina Klebe (whose credits include Halloween, the upcoming Zone of the Dead, the comedy 6 Month Rule and Criminal Minds, among others) . We’ve set out to explore the great acting opportunities (both creatively and business-wise) in this oft-maligned genre, and over the coming months we’ll excerpt our interviews here.
Paul wrote and directed Grace, an award-winning horror feature which premiered at 2009’s Sundance Film Festival. In Part One, Paul gave us a great overview of acting in horror. Today he shares more on filmmaking in general – his screenplay’s journey from feature to short to feature (the man can hustle!), the casting process, and working with actors.

that is some mind-blowing shit! Good interview.
Last week Kristina Klebe won the Fantasy Horror Award’s Best New Talent for her work in Zone of the Dead! Check out this link & scroll down to see her receiving her award from none other than A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Robert Englund: http://www.fantasyhorroraward.com/?cat=28
